It’s true! Pandas love foreign films, even though they care not for subtitles. Reading is too toilsome for a panda. But viewing moving images on a screen brings pandas much joy.
Let us all share in panda joy, and meet in the Chatzy room to discuss such joy on Monday, May 11th @ 9:30 PM EST.
Also, if the poster to the left is not fair enough a reminder, the film the pandas have picked is Alain Resnais’ Hiroshima Mon Amour. It’s got love, it’s got sex, it’s got atomic bombs! What else does an entertainment seeking panda need? Maybe some bamboo snacks. Delicious.
Speaking of said poster to left and looking at it now, Emmanuele Riva does somewhat resemble a panda. Joy!
If there were just one word to describe the action of rubbing ones palms together in excitement while grinning ecstatically, I would put that word here.
