In a first-person article posted on the conservative website Townhall.com on January 16, 2009, former Ohio Secretary of State – also former RNC Chairman candidate – Ken Blackwell encourages conservative members of Congress to vote against President Obama’s stimulus plan, which targets economic re-advancement and recuperation. (The bill aims for 80% privately created jobs, and could create more than 600,000 new federal jobs.)
