A failing body is a battleground for antibodies and infections. The plight of the Chicago Tribune, the once-vital Gray Lady of Lake Michigan, is a case of the antibodies being too depleted in the face of overwhelming invasion. It’s also a fairly clear case of looting in the guise of medical triage, or missionary work as a front for conquest.
