1. I grew up in the shadow of Yankee Stadium hearing how grand the Grand Concourse used to be. When I got to high school, and later college, I studied the Bronx “before” the Cross Bronx Expressway came to ruin everything and I developed a smoldering hatred for Robert Moses and a love for Robert Caro. I have fantasies of becoming mayor and returning the Bronx to its former glory. Including shutting down the Cross Bronx Expressway.
