    Yay! Its about time! I wanted to wait until you came around, as you were the only one I didn’t want to offend. And of course there is nothing wrong with noobs trying it for the first time…

    But you’d have to be a spineless waste of organic flesh with no affinity with value of this life in order to keep going with anti depressents. Psychiatry has been historically wrong on the treatment of everything since the very beginning.

      Psychiatry kept me from being drafted and sent to Vietnam, which allowed me, three or four months after when I would have been sent to a rice paddy, to accept an offer from the New York Times and launch a writing career that has proven very rewarding, at least in terms of peer approval. And it allowed me to stay at home and help raise a son. And hang on to a two BR apartment on the Upper West Side for which I was paying $119 a month. Other than that, nothing.
