What Does This Mean? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

September 5, 2011 in television

What does this mean? I’m sure it’s in some sort of English, but all the words are funny and it makes no sense at all. I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT MEANS. I MEAN – WHAT DOES IT MEAN? I’ve never heard of LostGirl, so I went to the site it has, which is full of gibberish written by drunks on a bender involving Crisco and rubbing alcohol, and I’m none the wiser. I’VE GOT NO IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS. WHAT IS IT ABOUT? I’ll be fucked if I’m going to watch this bullshit just to find out that my first impressions were correct, and that a bunch of drunks gather in a room and throw darts at a random selection of words pinned to a wall already peppered with nonsense.

A nomadic Fae sideshow comes to town looking to take advantage of the chaos that the bombing of the Light Fae headquarters has wrought. Unbeknownst to the general Light Fae populace, The Ash is in a coma, and his bond with the land is weakening, which makes this the perfect time for the traveling circus freaks to steal the most precious thing the Light Fae possess.

I mean – come on. The fuck is that all about. That means nothing. I’ll try my own:

A rambling Burty flamedanger wanders into Masticalia looking to obtain the Persibaps from the anger of the Doosiebears. Unbeknownst to Bappy Fantanglia, Beeson Manders reptrepts in a vandoggle, and his Blatching with his kettle is norburging, which makes this the perfect vanstrudle for the gibbering hotsands to steal the most precious thing the Masticalian possess.

Mine makes more sense. Where’s my fucking show?

Maybe this is the new Pokémon and we’re not meant to understand. Ever think of that?

From the picture I deduce it involves lesbians, threesomes and the cost of Fusion replacement blades.

There’s a series of books about Fae people? creatures? things? by Karen Marie Moning. Maybe it’s based on that? It’s set in Ireland. Maybe?

I think it’s about Joseph Cornell.

“…the perfect time for the traveling circus freaks to steal the most precious thing the Light Fae possess.” Which must be its virginity.

From my favorite research tool, Wikipedia:

Bo is a bisexual succubus who grew up in an adopted human family, unaware of her non-human nature and of the Fae world. Her succubus powers only become apparent to her when accidentally she kills her first love by draining him of his life energy, an act which forces her to flee her home. Bo exchanges her previously normal life for one without family or friends, moving from place to place whenever she kills again.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Seriously, people. This is a rip-off of the Fae series by KMM, as I mentioned above.

    From Moning’s Wikipedia entry:

Moning began her career writing paranormal romance set in Scotland but as she became increasingly fascinated with Celtic mythology, she switched genres to Urban Fantasy and location to Dublin, Ireland, so she could focus on the Tuatha de Danann, or Fae—an ancient race of immortal beings who have lived secretly among humans for millennia.

I can’t be the only person wildly up in arms over this, can I?

    Can I?
