Creepy hippies kinda get awesome.”

I can’t find an exact release date.  Sometime in October.

Record Label: Community Music / Fairfax Recordings / Rough Trade

And, for your creeped-out edification, a video:

Digital release was July 7th; hard copy available on July 14th in the U.S.

I love these guys. I picked up the record a few months ago, and now I hear “Home” everywhere. I think even in an episode of Community. Cultishly awesome. It never fails to put me in a better mood.

@Samurai: Thanks for this. I had never heard of them until yesterday when a semi-crappy radio station played one of their songs. I pulled my car over to write down their name. I’m wondering if I ever saw them at the Joshua Tree Music Festivals…I don’t think so but they would fit in. The “Home” video is non-annoying and fun as hell.

I’m glad that someone is giving SPP a hand with these reviews. I love the whole Audiosmoker concept. It is like a niche within the niche that is are corner of the Internet Universe. Of course, this is the corner with the window.
