I made it 6 seconds!
So, if I like this am I being ironic or not? Please someone tell me so that I can know what I think of this.
VOX- whatever this is already trendy and over.
@SS: Good one! I watched this earlier, but lately I’m being expected to work at work, so I couldn’t give it my all in terms of commenting. I thought this was truly funny! Thanks, ShortStuff!
Hipsters use bluetooth headsets? Uh, lame.
CAP- it’s ironic ok! god couldn’t you tell by the dare shirt he was wearing?
@SS: We don’t use irony in the Midwest. We are it.
I get the D.A.R.E. shirt. I get using a cassette Walkman (either untouched or retrofitted with an iPod). I sort of get riding an uber-expensive bicycle that isn’t very functional.
Using relatively new technology does not really say ironic to me. Why didn’t he go full-out and wear a custom-tailored suit and monogrammed shirt to finish the “ironic” ‘young banker’ or ‘successful salesman’ look?
@SS: (See Captain, supra.) I rest my case.
mama- I was home this weekend and understanding all too much that there is no irony in the midwest.
Cap-If I understood the way hipster logic worked I would shot myself. But shooting yourself is so over.
@SS: That’s kind of like saying there’s no racism in NYC. There’s plenty. It’s just further underground.
The above was regarding your reply to MamaP, btw.
@Captain: I agree with you – I was just doing my self-deprecation thing before the Brooklyn hipsters could do it.
Wait a minute. Too many pronouns. Forget my incomprehensible reply, above. That’s right above, btw. That said, I love the Captain. There, I said it.
I laughed on the inside, hipsterly. Refreshing to dump on Left Coast hipsters, for a change, like shitting on a different toilet, a cheap and passing sense of novelty.
DARE shirts in size medium are basically the most coveted of all hipster clothing. I really want to find one, even though it wouldn’t fit, so that I can hold it over their unwashed heads.
