I feel particularly lonely when it’s snowy. Now I know why.

I spent a half an hour scraping the inch of ice off my car door. It was legitimately hard work, and I couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t open.

It was then that realized that I had not unlocked the motherfucking door.

    Lawyergay: That’s also a Tanqueray and Tonic on the left, so admire it all the more. The Bud Light is the former BF’s (still a dear friend).

    LA: At least you aren’t a fey gay standing at your car tugging and cursing it. I have had similar experiences at Auto Zone. Once, I pretended to fix something just to get out.

    I do so love this photo. Mainly because I get a Pet Shop Boys song in my head and it makes me happy. And I do shit like this ALL the time. Pulling doors marked “push”, etc.

    The first year I lived in Montana (California girl), I was OUT of gas, 30 miles from home. I pulled up to the gas station and the locked gas cap wouldn’t open. Frozen. What to do? I took a lighter and heated the key. Magic.

    I stopped locking car doors during the winter.

    My trick is trying to turn the car off without putting it in “park.”

    Ha, this is the kind of thing that happens to me regularly (except this, of course, cos where I live it barely freezes). I am also notorious for searching the house frantically for my glasses… while still wearing them. Such a dork!

    All of these things, I do all of these things. I feel much better knowing that all of you lovely people do this too. I even will wash my hair, put conditioner in, not rinse that out, and only realize once I’m dressed and putting the brush to my hair that something is wrong. And then I’m like, Do I really have to get in the shower all over again? Nope. Just wrap that hair up and move on.
