I’m spending the weekend proofreading my mother’s new manuscript and figuring out where I will spend the winter. There’s a Goodwill box down the road a piece I’ve got my eye on.

(I live in Spokane, and that makes this Goodwill joke especially funny.)

All the comments and their respective commentators on Facebook Ethics: To Be Spanked, Or Not To Be Spanked.  I started reading through all the comments, thinking, “Ooh, that’s a good one, let’s give that one a smoky.”  Then I read the next comment and thought, “Ooh, that one’s even better.  This one gets a smoky.”  And so on, through the entire thread.  The whole thread was hilarious and entertaining, so the whole lot gets awards.

This was a tough one.  There were plenty of photos and vids posted this week.  But the one that made me LOL the most was MisterHippity’s apt use of tree moss to describe the pace of Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans in Lawyergay’s post, 5 Word Movie Review: Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans.  Honorable mention to VoxPopuli for the Michael Jackson with E.T. photo.  Creepy indeed.

What a week.  So many posts, such a variety, each with their own brand of wordsmokery.  A tough decision indeed.  After much consideration, this award can only go to The Worrywart for Whore Of Babble On And On And On: Is Sarah Palin The Antichrist?
